HBPA Shipping Incentive 2025

-$1,500 bonus to any horse brought to race at Century Mile for
the 2025 racing season.
-Horse must not have started in Alberta prior to the 2025 racing season. -
$1,500 will be paid out as $500 per start for the first three starts made at
Century Mile during the 2025 season.
-if a horse is claimed or transfers ownership before the full amount is paid
out, the original owner will acquire the whole bonus.
-Registration papers for all applicants will be held in the race office and
will only be released at the conclusion of the 2025 race season. If a
request is made to remove the papers before the end of the meet, all
Incentive payments made to that horse will need to returned to the HBPA
bookkeeper before the papers will be released.
-Owners of horses wanting to race in a Stake race with a purse of $40,000
and above must apply to the HBPA for permission for the horse to make
one start outside of Alberta. The HBPA reserves the right to deny these
requests based on horse population requirements.
-Horses must remain at Century Racetracks for the 2025 season.
-Non Starters as of January 1
st 2025 do not qualify for this incentive.
-Horses that have applied to the HBPA Claiming Incentive do not qualify
for this incentive.
-This Program is on a first come first serve basis. Not All applications will
be approved and ALL applications are contingent with the HBPA
receiving funding for this program.
-This program is for 2025 only and no funding will be carried over from
year to year.
-All racing age horses purchased or claimed in British Columbia are
excluded from this program. (Yearlings purchased at the 2024 CTHS BC
sale will qualify for the 2025 HBPA Incentive program)
**Any Owner/Trainer that does not abide by the stipulations provided for this incentive can
be requested to pay back any and all funds that have been dispersed. The HBPA reserves the
right to garnish these funds from an owners account. **
